Scholarships

Scholarships are a monetary gift designed to help pay for educational costs like tuition, books, supplies, and housing and are usually awarded based on merit, GPA, achievements, or a number of other similar qualifications, and they usually require that you maintain a certain GPA standing or meet certain requirements. Some students write essays to explain why they deserve the financial assistance that a scholarship provides, where other students are awarded scholarships based on financial need or personal hardship. Some scholarships might even come from organizations that want to support students in their community.
